Every animal deserves a home.

At City Goat Farm, we believe farmed animals are no different from the cats and dogs we share our lives with. They form families, build friendships, and feel curiosity, joy, and pain.

Since 2021, we’ve provided lifelong homes to more than 70 farmed animals — each with a story worth telling.

An estimated 10 million U.S. households have backyard chickens. All too often, birds like Rita and her friends are abandoned after their family moves, become too busy, or the hens stop laying eggs.

Twins Bolt and Blaze were born in a snowstorm among 40 other neglected goats and sheep. Now, they have a home with their mom and siblings, with all the hay they can eat.

Orson and Welles were found abandoned in a farmer’s field. They were terrified of people, but have made themselves at home on the farm, even deigning to accept head scratches!

We have to speak up on behalf of those who cannot speak for themselves.
