City Goat Farm is a 100% volunteer-run nonprofit providing rescue and lifelong sanctuary to farmed animals with nowhere else to go. In just four years, we’ve welcomed more than 70 residents—sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, and turkeys—each with their own story.
Now we’re facing an urgent challenge that threatens the very heart of our sanctuary.
The century-old barn that provides our residents with shelter and safety is at risk. Repeated flooding is threatening its foundation, and we need to act quickly to protect it.
To safeguard the barn, we’re taking on an urgent excavation project: regrading the land to divert runoff and installing proper drainage to prevent future flooding. This work will keep the barn stable, safe, and dry—ensuring our residents continue to have the secure home they rely on.
We’ve personally contributed $5,000 to get the work started. We now need to raise the remaining $5,000 to finish the job before the end of the year.
This project is essential, time-sensitive, and truly impactful. Your support will help protect the home our animals depend on every single day.
