WHAT WE DO
Founded in 2021 on 13.3 acres of historic farmland in Charlton, NY, City Goat Farm is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing farmed animals in need and promoting a sustainable, ethical farming future.
Rescue & Sanctuary
We believe that all animals should be treated with kindness and respect. We rescue and rehabilitate farm animals who have been victims of abuse, neglect, or abandonment, and provide them with a lifelong home.
Sustainable Farming
We work towards a future of accessible, ethical, and sustainable farming. We support local farms and farming practices that prioritize the wellbeing of the animals, our communities, and the environment.
Community Engagement
We recognize the value of farmers and the threat of factory farming and agribusiness to our communities and way of life. We are committed to building support for ethical farming, local food, and animal welfare.
